From a comprehensive business communications plan to SEO-friendly web copy, college essay coaching, or a simple press release, I can help articulate your message so it resonates with your intended audience.

Content Writing

If you need clean, targeted content for a website, email, ad, press release, or any other communication, I can craft just the right message to fit your marketing and sales objectives.

Clients include Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic, Academic Arrangements Abroad, Westchester Office of Tourism & Film, TravelBound, Kai Wright’s BlackList100, and the Greenwich Hospital Foundation. Through agency work I’ve also written for Ritz-Carlton, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Iona Prep, and Food Bank for Westchester. In addition, I’ve provided my services pro-bono for organizations including the Alzheimer’s Association of Connecticut and Greenwich Public Schools.

Communications Management

I’m versed in website/blog content management systems like WordPress, email marketing tools such as Constant Contact, and social media platforms including Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. In addition to writing messages I can also manage their scheduling and delivery and track their effectiveness. I work well with graphic designers, coders, marketing and public relations departments, C-suite executives, and others to produce on-brand communications with cross-team buy-in.

I have directed communications for NYC & Company, the Greenwich Historical Society, and First Presbyterian Church of Greenwich.

Editing / Proofreading / Ghostwriting / Writing Coaching

I’m an eagle-eyed editor and proud grammar nerd who is a walking spell check. Need a last look at an important document to check for clarity, syntax, and grammar? Want to attract media attention with a press release? Don’t know where to start with a college essay? Have a point you want to get across in a letter to the editor? Does your team need a refresher on professional communications? I’m happy to help and honestly find it a true calling to rid the world of sloppy writing, one convert to using -ly for adverbs at a time.

I’ve helped students express themselves in essays for prep schools and colleges and written press releases to promote books for self-published authors and to increase event attendance for small organizations. I’ve edited the memoir of an advertizing executive; ghostwritten major parts of two guidebooks; and organized and edited a hybrid travel guide-memoir.
